Have you ever imagined an Indian wedding without a Baraat? No right, but this pandemic has forced us to have a wedding without Baraat. Basically, a Baraat is the groom’s big processional into the venue, dancing to the music beats, lights, music bands, and groom on the mare, this is why Indian weddings are no less than a festival. But yes many people are just opting for a simple yet elegant wedding where only you and your loved ones would attend the wedding with no Band Baaja Baraat.

Couples, nowadays are happily welcoming this new trend. Some of the couples who were planning to tie a knot this year either pushed their wedding until next year or have planned an intimate wedding. As cases are growing in many parts of India, the Government of India has enforced a law where only 50 people are allowed to attend a wedding.

Some couples have shared their experiences on social media that how this pandemic has affected their wedding and how they have accepted the new change. A couple from Assam have recently got married and expressed the opinion, they liked this new change and even accepted that such weddings could save a lot of money.
